Have him bite down on tea bags for a while, it helps to stop bleeding. After that have him bite down on gauze for a while as well, but dampen the gauze first because when it's dry and he takes it out it can remove the clots with the gauze. If this doesn't help and the doctor doesn't call you back very soon I would go to the ER. Better safe than sorry. Also don't have him take any aspirin for pain, it's a blood thinner and he would continue to bleed, unless instructed by a doctor for medical reasons.. Good luck!

Every now and then my husband calls me a lazy *** because he wakes up in the very earrly morning (before baby or I are awake) and tells me our baby (who sleeps with us) smells like he has peed, and I don't wake up and go change him. We are talking about pee-only diapers, not poo. Of course if he were pooed I would change him. But if it's just pee and baby is sleeping soundly, why wake everyone up for a diaper change?? He thinks I am just being lazy when I roll over and go back to sleep. Am I, or is this normal practice for normal mothers?

It sounds like she may be depressed, my father is manic depressive and has been for years, he won't look up from the TV or computer to see the kids screaming and shouting at each other around him. Being depressed would make her not care like it seems. Another thing I'm guessing is she may be burned out depending on how long she's been a parent. Don't wear yourself out taking care of your sister's children though. There comes a point in time when you need to put yourself first. Hope this helps!

I think this song is beautiful and actually made me cry at first. You should try and figure out your own interpretation for it because mine or any other's probably won't fit your life or how you feel about it. Most people seem to be thinking its a sad song because at first it sounds like its talking about the death of your true love but why would they play it during such a happy moment in the movie? Its my favorite part by the way. I think of it as my love giving all of himself to me and "dieing" as an individual and becoming one and being with them forever. You are ok, some Drs won't even see you until you are 12 weeks. You can call Medicaid and check on the status of your application. If you don't choose on of the Drs on their list, they will automatically choose one for you. You can go on the Medicaid website to see which Drs in your area are accepting new patients and let Medicaid know which Dr you chose. your first u/s won't be until about 20 weeks (unless there are complications, or a question of conception date) They will try to tell you the gender then. Most of the time they can't accurately tell the gender until at least 16 weeks. Then it would be iffy..maybe a boy might show up clearly but I wouldn't trust one then if they said girl..lol. But you need to call Medicaid and see who your Dr is..then you might be able to make an appointment. The Dr's office will just check your info online to confirm you do indeed receive medicaid.

I have a logical answer to that. Teenagers lose there virginity early because most teenagers these days think there in love. When you are in a serious relationship with someone you think that they are the one so you feel to give them everything they got even your virginity. Some times people are in the heat of the moment and they can't help but to lose it. Sometimes people don't even know what they're doing its like you don't have control over it. It just happens. usually people don't get worried about getting pregnant because if you use a condom properly then nothing can happen. that's only if protection is use the right way. Ideas Please! I need to teach a compare/contrast kindergarten lesson plan for a job interview.?

I had a job interview today for one of two kindergarten long term substitute positions. They told me during the interview that they were going to pick the top 2 or 3 candidates to perform a lesson plan and then they would make their decision on the final 2 teachers to hire. Anyway, I did get a call back from the school secretary this afternoon, and she said on Monday I have to perform a 15 minute lesson on comparing and contrasting geared toward kindergarteners. That's all the information she had. So I have just this weekend to develop a lesson plan, tweak it to 15 minutes, make sure it is based on compare/contrast, and is geared toward the kindergarten grade. Wife Files Restraining Order... For?

My wife recently filed a restraining order against me in another state without my knowledge. She claims it's because she disagreed with me going out with friends who I haven't seen in over 3 years; being a new parent, I haven't had time to go out at all. This was the VERY FIRST time I've gone out with friends in over 3 years! (all male) and she went insane; she obviously is extremely possessive and jealous and wants me all to herself. A while ago she called the cops on me because I was laughing at her about a poem I sent to her cell-phone showing my appreciation and love for her which she completely misconstrued. I'm not physically abusive but she is, her father beat her so usually when she can't win an argument she results to physical violence to get her point across. I've been slapped for politely talking to other women even hit while I was holding my baby which I managed to get on video. On occasion I have pushed her or shaken her to get her off of me, but I've never hit her, but she has hit and bruised me. She is also saying that I ually abused her when I thanked her for which happened over 3 years ago, however, I can't even tell her "Thank You" without her getting offended. Her entire family knows that she is unhappy and so does my family; she will create an argument over anything then go to the extreme when she can't win. Now she is claiming on getting a divorce and taking full-custody of my son? So.... I'm trying to go to marriage counseling and anger management cles for the both of us because I do insult her and degrade her when I'm in an angered state, but very rarely; which is fairly common in most relationships. I'm not perfect by any standard, and I'm sure that most of you reading this must think there is more going on... But I ure you she will start a fight with me over NOTHING! If you're using it to capture game footage, I can't explain why it wouldn't work. But if you're using it to capture movies, than it's refusing to capture because it detects the copy protection (macrovision). So if that's what you're trying to do, it gets a lot more complicated.

HELP! Serious Dog Problem... URGENT!!!!!?

Ok so my family rescued a 1 year old chihuahua from the SPCA. My husband and I work, so we aren't able to be home during the day. At first, she hated her crate, but we thought she would get used to it after time. It has now been 5 weeks and her "condition" is getting worse. She hates her crate and knows we will leave when she is put in it. We try to put her in the crate while we are home, so she knows that we aren't always leaving. We have decided not to leave her outside for the day (we have an electric fence) because we are afraid that some kind of hawk or owl will swoop down and pick her up, or another dog in the neighborhood will come and attack her. Now, whenever we put her in her crate, she whines and barks, and when we let her out today, she urinated frequently. We had kept her in her crate for 2 hours today. When we came home, she had slobbered all over the floor of her crate, which is what she does every time. We are thinking about getting a fenced-in, roofed large cage to go outside to keep her in with a doghouse, so she isn't trapped inside. We don't want her to roam around the house, because we cannot come home to let her go to the bathroom, and we don't want it in our house! We could use a cat door, since she is small enough (by the way, she is a mix so she is larger, 11 pounds) but we don't know about the safety of that. PLEASE help us, for we don't know what to do with her and we are VERY attached to her. We would hate to have to give her away!! we also heard about a medication you can give her but we were wondering about any health concerns or problems..? HELPP!!

What is the best way to fix a rear quarter panel?

I got rear ended a couple weeks ago. I totaled and bought back the car. I shaped the trunk lid back to working order. The rear quarter is a little more difficult to figure out. The trunk where the taillight embly sets was basically folded in on it's self. I tried using a small dent puller but no luck. What is the best way to pull this out? I'm not looking for a pretty fix. Atheist intolerance...?

Why are atheists always look down upon? I was at a friends house and we were about to eat dinner, They thanked god for the food and to live a happy life. So i just tried to fit in and i did too but after a while they asked me if i go to church and i said i was an atheist. I asked them and they said they were protestant Christian. They did not react in any way and are still nice to me and did not react but i was reading this article about atheism intolerance and they are just looked down upon by religious people. My friend's family like to help out but some other people are just always donating things and always miserable and complain about everything and it seems kinda sad and they are snooty and think they are perfect (Like my neighbors) and does being an atheist make you a bad person? How does believing god make you a better person? My neighbors complained to my dad about me getting an eyebrow piercing and said it was not moral (I am a guy) and all they do is complain how imperfect other people are and they always judge their religious views. Honey, you are setting yourself up to be an alcoholic. Of course your liver is going to be affected. You know, a girl is not fully developed until she reaches the age of 18 and it's 21 for boys. Your liver can't take all that alcohol. You may think it's not a lot just because it's the weekend, but that's to much. Don't your parents see that you drink. Do you hide it from them? Think about it. If you want to google something, google about alcoholics and what they go through or just plain alcohol and see what it does to your body. Not just your liver, but your stomach, kidneys, heart. It's a killer. If you keep this up, you will need help to quit. Try it this weekend, go party and don't drink. If you can't resist that alcohol, then you do have a problem. I know it sounds like I'm preaching, but I went through this with 2 of my daughters and my son. This is heartbreaking for a parent. 97 Dodge Caravan oil light at idle/slow speed?

I had oil and filter changed in past 30 days, they also replace PCV valve at that time. Now oil light comes on at slow speeds (<20 & when idling, like at stop light). Is not an all the time occurrence, oddly it seems to happen when I only person in car? Have checked oil level, is full... any idea of what problem could be?

This doesn't sound right. For a high p circuit you need a cap in series with the circuit. When you take a cap to ground you have a low p circuit. The high frequencies would go to ground through the cap. The wikipedia link below shows a high p circuit just to make sure. It also gives the formula for computing the values you need to make your own filter at the frequencies you want. If you need voltage to still get through the circuit you need to byp the cap. Otherwise the cap will block any DC.

Pull the cover off of the lamp and check to see if there are any deformities ie. white spots near the bottom of the stem. The second is the lamp switch cover might be down inside of up. When you put the cover back on make sure the little switch is going up instead of down. If the lamp looks good and the switch trick does not do the trick then you will need to contact the service company.

Hi 2 all out there, I know I will be judged but who cares, I have 2 let it out…..4give the number/words… About 2 wks ago I made a horrible decision. I told this person about my feelings and he took it personal as if I were saying he wasn’t all that when in fact I was expressing my guilt for possibly crossing a line I would never cross in my RIGHT MIND. So I go home and do all the housework—hubby’s in same spot watching ESPN and smoking pot, asking where his red vines are,etc. I went to therapy and realized that was a wake-up call and I did it because all my emotional needs are unmet by an addict. The other person flaked on me (probably judged me) said I was “too intense” and didn’t know how to deal with me and can’t see me like that even though he fawned over me for months and told me how great I am. Now he’s back to his life, married to a 220 pound slovenly, ghetto, uncouth drug addict that he works 12 hr shifts to help support. He will not respond to any of my texes and I feel REJECTION and it hurts. I feel screwed because I put my future in jeopardy for someone who would blow me off like that. There are scores of men who adore me and I’m very refined in taste, manners, and appearance. Now I have trouble thinking men can be trusted. How do I forget this incident and move on? By the way, I found a huge stash of very hard core in my mates closet with a receipt for over 50.00. I felt a fool—I remember that day—being concerned about groceries, paying rent, and all for him to blow his money on that? For supposedly being gifted, I’m and idiot when it comes to love. Yes I think it's a betrayal. There are gay and straight men who seek out vulnerable youngsters to "help" them but their real motivation is to have with them. I remember reading a news story about a pedophile who opened an orphanage in Thailand. It would be nice if every young person had someone they could rely on, someone who didn't want to use them. Abused kids are sometimes highly ualised and they particularly appreciate it when an adult resists the temptation to have with them. They probably respect that a lot and value that adult.

We have a new Lincoln navigator with a remote start. When used it not only starts the climate control at the level it was the last time but also sets up my husband's memory settings for the drivers seat, making it awkward for him to get in the vehicle ! Is it possible to have both a sealed and ported subwoofer enclosure?

I am going to build a custom sub box to put in the trunk of my car, but I am having trouble deciding on a ported or sealed enclosure. I was wondering if it is possible to do both. I want to build a triple box, and I wanted to have two subs both in separate sealed chambers and then put a vent or port on the other sub in it's own chamber. Has anybody ever tried this? I was wanting to know if it would sound worse or better. Because they both have their advantages so it seems to me that if I have both, I will get the sound quality out of the sealed and the loudness out of the ported. I think you've got some things mixed up there. For one, Fundies are those who simply believe the Bible and the Bible alone is God's spoken authority on all matters. Some fundies accept the Trinity, some don't. Some accept "once-saved-always...", some don't. I consider myself and my faith to be 'fundie' because we accept the Bible as God's word and the only source of truth in which to compare all matters (ie: creation vs evolution, state of the dead, Sabbath being Saturday vs Sunday...etc), however, I do believe a person CAN loose their salvation once it's been acquired. See what I mean? Too many variables to be calling out an entire cl of Christians over one or two beliefs you don't agree with.

I'm not sure what you mean by "your chances are greater." You don't necessarily improve your chances of attending a university by going to a community college, unless there are serious reasons you need to improve upon your academic record from high school. If that's true, your best bet would be to attend a community college in the area of the school you wish to attend, get very very good grades, make contacts with the admissions of the school and find out how you can eventually transfer.

My son is seven months old and he eats what we eat. We keep mashing to a minimum and give him little pieces at a time to "chew" and he does very well.
