Wife Files Restraining Order... For?

My wife recently filed a restraining order against me in another state without my knowledge. She claims it's because she disagreed with me going out with friends who I haven't seen in over 3 years; being a new parent, I haven't had time to go out at all. This was the VERY FIRST time I've gone out with friends in over 3 years! (all male) and she went insane; she obviously is extremely possessive and jealous and wants me all to herself. A while ago she called the cops on me because I was laughing at her about a poem I sent to her cell-phone showing my appreciation and love for her which she completely misconstrued. I'm not physically abusive but she is, her father beat her so usually when she can't win an argument she results to physical violence to get her point across. I've been slapped for politely talking to other women even hit while I was holding my baby which I managed to get on video. On occasion I have pushed her or shaken her to get her off of me, but I've never hit her, but she has hit and bruised me. She is also saying that I ually abused her when I thanked her for which happened over 3 years ago, however, I can't even tell her "Thank You" without her getting offended. Her entire family knows that she is unhappy and so does my family; she will create an argument over anything then go to the extreme when she can't win. Now she is claiming on getting a divorce and taking full-custody of my son? So.... I'm trying to go to marriage counseling and anger management cles for the both of us because I do insult her and degrade her when I'm in an angered state, but very rarely; which is fairly common in most relationships. I'm not perfect by any standard, and I'm sure that most of you reading this must think there is more going on... But I ure you she will start a fight with me over NOTHING! I was sleep with my shirt-off because I was hot and she thought I was trying to seduce a woman who happened to be living in at my mothers house at the time; and no I never cheated on her, so there is no reason why she should have that insecurity. I've been attacked while sleeping because she thought I had a Myspace/Facebook account of which wasn't, the name wasn't even mine...????? It's crazy, I think she is looking for some form of control over me but realizes she can't control me so she tries to do whatever she can to cause strife and trouble within our relationship... Is there anyway I can counter this Restraining Order? I mean... She claims it's because I don't respect her and that I go out with friends; but that was once in 3 years. WTF????? Someone help me out on this..
