I shaved my pubic area, should everything be okay?

I'm 15 and decided to shave my pubic area, down below. I shaved it in the shower using Gilette Shaving foam and Gillette razor. Everything seems to be fine althought there is a small bit of itching. Should everything be OK? e.g getting infected or a rash? thanks
