Major tooth extraction, need help!?

Have him bite down on tea bags for a while, it helps to stop bleeding. After that have him bite down on gauze for a while as well, but dampen the gauze first because when it's dry and he takes it out it can remove the clots with the gauze. If this doesn't help and the doctor doesn't call you back very soon I would go to the ER. Better safe than sorry. Also don't have him take any aspirin for pain, it's a blood thinner and he would continue to bleed, unless instructed by a doctor for medical reasons.. Good luck!
