Im 12 weeks pregnant and waiting on medicad?

You are ok, some Drs won't even see you until you are 12 weeks. You can call Medicaid and check on the status of your application. If you don't choose on of the Drs on their list, they will automatically choose one for you. You can go on the Medicaid website to see which Drs in your area are accepting new patients and let Medicaid know which Dr you chose. your first u/s won't be until about 20 weeks (unless there are complications, or a question of conception date) They will try to tell you the gender then. Most of the time they can't accurately tell the gender until at least 16 weeks. Then it would be iffy..maybe a boy might show up clearly but I wouldn't trust one then if they said girl..lol. But you need to call Medicaid and see who your Dr is..then you might be able to make an appointment. The Dr's office will just check your info online to confirm you do indeed receive medicaid.
