Christians, why ask why Atheists are here?

I agree that it is not a wise question. Anyone has a right to discuss. Where I see foolishness however is in the 2-year-olds-in-adult-bodies type questions that simply seek to mock other's beliefs. Foolishness is also seen in mean-spiritedness. Another way I see foolishness is when non-religious people claim that they are on this site to protect their society from religion in their government or education. How utterly ridiculous! How is mockery of others going to cause them to give up their cherished beliefs? Even a junior high school knowledge of psychology would cause anyone to know that mockery does not convert people. In other words there is no reason to function on a brain power only slightly above that which is necessary for some internal organ function on this sight
