What Can Be Done About Rude Neighbors?

What a shame unhappy people living miserable lives feel it necessary to be so nasty to total strangers they don't even know, of course, you realize she is ignorant and stupid but that doesn't help. I lived in a condo area like the one you describe and there were a small handful of blacks who kept to themselves out of necessity, but I was also ostracized by some and treated very badly because I was younger than the majority. I tried to get to know some of them, I joined their local Weight Watchers group but one of them said something so rude to me I never went back. Likewise when I tried to join the gym. I had a nice black lady caring for my Mom and she told me a comment one of them made which made me furious but she didn't know who he was and I wasn't outside at the time, and that was another incident out of many. The people, not all of them, but far too many, were rude nasty self centered and arrogant and above all ignorant and I could not wait to get out of there.
