Is he purposly blowing me off?

this guy and i have been wanting to get together and hang out, watch some movies and stuff but whenever i try to make plans he says he's busy. he flaked out on me after we've been planning 2 MONTHS to watch watchmen so he could work (he told me the day before we were supposed to watch it), When I talked to him about it and he said that he already rented the movie for himself to watch. and he says that the next time we can is next tuesday. Also when i talked to him he said "i really wanted to watch it with you because you're the only girl that likes it as much as i do." I dont know if i can believe him. Is it too much to ask for him just to spend one measly night with me? or am i just worrying too much. I'm actually getting quite upset with him. What do you think?
